Your election, Liftoff-funded value
Purposeful POS redirects an eligible portion of Liftoff’s approved benefits budget associated with your merchant relationship to a verified local 501(c)(3). It is not a donation of your processing fees or your money.
Choose Build My Business to retain the normal eligible benefits, Business + Community to propose a blended allocation, or Purposeful POS to redirect most or all approved eligible value. Allocations are a proposal until Liftoff confirms the final package.
Nominate a local nonprofit
You can nominate an organization by name; this is not an approved nonprofit directory. Liftoff checks eligible 501(c)(3) status and confirms the organization, contribution amount and terms before contributions begin.
Liftoff must verify nonprofit eligibility and confirm the final contribution amount. Contributions continue only while the qualifying relationship is active and in good standing, subject to program terms. No tax deduction is promised.
Keep the business relationship clear
A community election does not increase processing fees in the calculator or create a tax deduction claim. Operational fit and processor approval remain independent of the election. Selected business benefits may be reduced or replaced by a confirmed community allocation.
A separate Liftoff commitment
Liftoff also contributes a portion of its own revenue to the Taneja Family Foundation’s MTP Initiative, supporting domestic violence awareness, advocacy and survivor-focused community efforts.
This is a separate Liftoff-funded commitment, not your merchant-directed nonprofit election. No fixed percentage or merchant-specific contribution amount is represented here.

Can I retain some business benefits?
Choose Business + Community and propose how much eligible value to reserve. Final benefits and nonprofit contributions are confirmed together; selecting a tier does not guarantee every benefit and a full community allocation at the same time.
Is the MTP Initiative my selected beneficiary?
Not automatically. The separate Liftoff revenue commitment is distinct from the local nonprofit you nominate through Purposeful POS.
